How We Can Help

The first thing you’ll hear is the voice of a caring, well equipped volunteer from one of our partner churches. A volunteer who will take the time to listen and care for you; who will inquire about the presenting need, but also explore the broader context of your situation. Everything we do revolves around relationships because Love INC isn’t just about meeting needs, it’s about meeting people where they are at, and helping them achieve their God-given potential. Connection Center

The Love INC Connection Center takes many requests for help each year. These calls are answered by caring volunteers who listen to understand people’s situations and direct them to the most appropriate source of help. This can mean a referral to an area agency or services provided by area churches and volunteers through the Connection Center.

Rise Furniture Ministry

The Rise Furniture Ministry runs a ministry focused shop day in which participants can work side by side our volunteers to refurbish and make ready furniture for the showroom floor. In exchange for their service, the participants can earn furniture from our warehouse for their own homes. The furniture earned is delivered to the participants homes in collaboration with our warehouse ministry!

Thrive Bike Ministries

The Thrive Vision Bike Program provides a pathway for bicycle transportation for our participants when they work with one of our trained volunteers to clean, repair and restore a donated bicycle. During this time they will volunteer in the work required to have wheels ready for the road.

Life INC

The Life INC Program offers a variety of adult education classes on various nights throughout the year hosted by local area churches. Class topics frequently include finances, parenting, Christianity, nutrition & cooking, dealing with trauma, and whole-life mentoring. A meal, children’s ministry, and transportation are provided free of charge. Courses typically last 6-9 weeks in length. Hundreds of individuals and families have benefited from this life-changing ministry!

Gap Ministries

The Gap Ministries at Love INC assist participants in finding resources for kitchen items, linens, and assisting foster families. These ministries are made available through the Connection Center and working with the partner churches that head up and staff these ministries!

Clothe-A-Kid

Making ends meet can be tough. Clothe-A-Kid helps any parent or guardian who finds themselves in a place of need by coming alongside them and purchasing new school clothes for each of their children. Each family is required to graduate from a Life INC class to qualify for this program.

Changed Diaper Ministry

In partnership with Sturgis United Methodist Church we are now offering help with diapers. If you or someone you know is in need of diapers, pullups or wipes, give us a call to go through a few simple questions and get you set up with picking up diapers from the church.

Furniture Ministry

We are currently accepting donations to be able to provide people with a few simple item needs for their home. These items are earned by completing community hours at local agencies alongside a caring church volunteer.

Prayer Requests

Prayer is an integral part of who we are. Before we start our day, our meetings, or answer any phone calls… we pray. This gives God the opportunity to guide us on what He wants us to do.
