Sturgis UMC is a United Methodist congregation and in the tradition of our founders, John and Charles Wesley, we stress the importance of becoming fully formed followers of Jesus Christ through personal spiritual development and through service to others.

This ministry has opened their doors to host Life INC classes, are the host of our diaper ministry, Changed, and seek to be active ministers the community of Sturgis. You can find out more about them here.

It was a delight to have them as part of the Inter-Church Bowl-Off and we congratulate them as the first ever champions!

Kwik Mart/Sturgis Subs has been a great supporter of Love INC through event support and generous donations to our Life INC participants. They make great food, too! You can learn more about them here or go visit them directly at 2217 Junction Ave, Sturgis.

We had such a fun time with 12 teams from eight churches. Such a blessing to see the CHURCH hanging out together.

Churches Care for Whitewood invite you to join us for Vacation Bible School as we seek to discover the BIGNESS of God!

What: Vacation Bible School! A free and fun summer event for kids featuring games, crafts, and learning about who Jesus is!Who: Pre-K – 6th graders. Must be at least 4 years old to attend.    

When: Sunday, July 13 – Thursday, July 17, 5:30pm – 8:00pm

Where: Immanuel Lutheran Church, 920 Fillmore, Whitewood, SD

Why: To have fun with friends, play lots of games, and learn about Jesus!

Perhaps we, like Peter and John in Acts 3, don't have gold or silver to offer but what we do have we want to offer freely. Love empowered by God's Holy Spirit.
