What's Happening at Love INC Sturgis |
Church of the Week: Sturgis Church of Christ
|
The Sturgis church is a family of believers with an insatiable desire to help those who are not part of God's family, who are outside of Christ. It hurts us to see the world around us, which is plagued by hurt, division, and being pulled in so many different directions. Yet, even more troubling are the countless people in our own neighborhoods with no one to teach them of the hope and truth that are found solely in Jesus. We, at the Sturgis Church of Christ, feel very convicted about our calling. We, are called to help those who are looking to CONNECT and find Jesus. You can find out more about them here.

Agency of the Week: Sabers Agency |
Locally owned. Family owned. The Sabers Agency was built on the value of relationships and many of those relationships, that go back generations, continue today. We make it a point to work alongside our clients and to get know who they are and their specific insurance needs. We have earned our loyal, honest reputation through hard work and dedication to our clients; we strive to be the agency you want to partner with for all of your insurance needs.
Scott Sabers started as an agent with Sabers Farmers Union Insurance Agency in July of 2005 after working for several years in the mortgage banking industry in Indiana. After working alongside his father, Ken, for the first 6 years of his insurance career, Scott and his wife Brenda took over the family owned agency in Sturgis in 2011. Ken had been with Farmers Union Insurance for 40+ years and had owned the agency in Sturgis since 1985. In May 2017, the agency grew and added a second location when they acquired the Spearfish Farmers Union Insurance office. Scott and Brenda, along with their knowledgeable staff, currently operate both the Sturgis and Spearfish offices. Sabers Farmers Union Insurance Agency partners with clients all over South Dakota, helping them with their insurance needs; we are also licensed to assist clients living in Wyoming with their insurance needs.

At Love INC we have four key values that guide how we view and interact with our participants. You are loved. You belong. You have choices. You have something to offer. The third value, you have choices, challenges the personal lie of "I am trapped." When we are successful in our mission of mobilizing the local church to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ, we see that Christ offers us freedom from whatever was holding us back from living the life that God is calling us to. At Love INC we desire to help our participants see those choices and enable them to take the next right step in obedience to Christ. |
