Love INC's Grow Deep Prayer Campaign

This summer, Love INC is launching the Grow Deep Prayer Campaign, a simple yet impactful way to pray for our community. From June through August, participants will receive several weekly text messages with guided prayer prompts—each focused on real community challenges and the local ministries working to address them.

Every winter, our Meals on Wheels crew gears up for a special mission: delivering a magical box packed with 4-5 delicious, shelf-stable meals to our amazing seniors just as the chilly season arrives! These aren’t just any meals—they’re emergency-ready feasts that don’t need a fridge or freezer, perfect for those snowy days when getting out just isn’t an option.
When winter storms hit and roads turn icy, our program sometimes has to pause—but thanks to these boxes, our seniors can still enjoy a hearty meal, no matter what the weather throws their way.
This year, we’re making it a true community celebration! Get ready for our first-ever Winter Warmth Food Drive, happening the first week of September. We’re calling on you—yes, you!—to join the fun by donating your favorite non-perishable goodies. Let’s fill those boxes with tasty treats and brighten up the coldest days for our seniors.

Come to the Sturgis Public Library on Wednesdays at 11 am for PreK Storytime for ages 3-6. Celebrate literacy with movement, stories, and crafts with Miss Sierra.

What is poverty? We believe poverty is not just a lack of material things but is truly rooted in broken relationships with God, self, others, and the rest of creation. People experience poverty through their own sin and the sins of others. Personal sins, foolishness, criminality, and poor stewardship all result in poverty (Prov 10:4, 23:21). But because other people sin, the systems that sinful people create are a cause of poverty and disharmony too. Our political, economic, religious, and social systems are broken too—often holding people in poverty outside their control. All our efforts to alleviate poverty must address the root causes (broken relationship) rather than treat superficial symptoms (material lack). This is a reason we seek to mobilize the church!
