What's Happening at Love INC Sturgis |
Join us for 30 Days of Thanks |
This November, we invite you to join us on a journey of gratitude. Gratitude shifts our perspective, grounds us in hope, and reminds us that even in challenging times, there is always something to give thanks for. So for 30 days, let’s pause together—just for a moment each day—to notice the blessings in our lives and give God all the praise.
Beginning Saturday, November 1 and continuing through Sunday, November 30, we’ll share daily posts filled with scripture, inspiration, and reflections on thankfulness. As we walk through this month together, may we grow in gratitude, see God’s hand in both the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life, and experience how giving thanks can transform us from the inside out.
Be sure to follow our Facebook page so you don’t miss a day—and let’s make this month a shared journey of lifting our hearts in thanks to the One who is so worthy of praise. |
Church of the Week: Grace United Methodist
|
Grace United Methodist Church in Piedmont, South Dakota is a welcoming faith community rooted in the Wesleyan tradition, committed to growing closer to Jesus through worship, service, and fellowship. The church encourages all to come as they are and participate in a shared journey of faith, grace, and transformation. Through seasonal worship series and community outreach, Grace UMC seeks to embody the love and hope of Christ in everyday life.
We are deeply grateful for Grace United Methodist Church’s partnership with Love INC. Their commitment to being the hands and feet of Jesus aligns beautifully with our shared values of compassion, dignity, and community transformation. Together, we strive to serve our neighbors with love, build bridges of hope, and reflect Christ’s grace in tangible ways. Thank you for walking alongside us in this mission.

Did you know Sturgis United Methodist Church has a diaper ministry that Love INC helps facilitate? It’s true! Through this partnership, we seek to serve families with dignity and compassion, building relationships that reflect Christ’s love.
If you know (or are) a family with young children, we would love for you to share our number so we can walk alongside them and provide much-needed supplies as an expression of God’s grace. If you would like to donate to the diaper bank, you can also give us a call at 605-206-3515.
Thank you for helping us support the vulnerable in our community and live out the call to love our neighbors in practical, transformative ways! |
Above is a panoramic view of Sturgis from the top of the Hopwood Hope House—a powerful reminder of the community we serve. At Love INC, our mission is to mobilize the Church to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ. As we look out over our city, we invite you to join us in lifting Sturgis up in prayer: that God’s Kingdom would be established here through the unified work of local churches, that lives would be transformed through acts of love and service, and that individuals would experience true wholeness through a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

INTERESTED IN PARTNERING WITH US? |
Dear Friend,
As autumn settles in and we enter a season of reflection and gratitude, we are reminded of the power of community and the calling to love our neighbors well. At Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC), we witness every day how lives are transformed when people feel seen, valued, and supported.
This fall, we invite you to be part of our Give Thanks; Give Back campaign — a movement rooted in the belief that you are loved, you belong, you have choices, and you have something to offer. These are not just words; they are the foundation of how we serve our neighbors in Sturgis and beyond.
Your gift helps us walk alongside individuals and families facing challenges — whether it's a single mom whose child needs clothes for school, or a neighbor seeking guidance to build a sustainable budget. Through your generosity, we connect people to resources, relationships, and renewed hope.
Every dollar you give is a tangible expression of Christ’s love. Whether it’s $20, $50, $100, or more, your support helps us affirm the dignity of those we serve and remind them they are not alone. We believe that when we give thanks, we are also called to give back. You can make your tax-deductible gift today by visiting loveinconline.com/donate or by returning the enclosed envelope. Together, let’s ensure that every neighbor knows they are loved, valued, and part of a caring community. Thank you for being a vital part of this mission. With heartfelt gratitude in the name of Christ, Sean Larger furniture items can be scheduled for a pick-up by calling our office at 605.206.3515.
Address: 1242 Sherman St., Sturgis, SD 57785
Interested in volunteering? Just call 605.206.3515 or email sturgis@love-inc.us. It would be our pleasure to partner with you in advancing God's Kingdom here in the Black Hills!

You Have Something to Offer
At Love INC, we believe every person is created by God with unique gifts and talents. We strive to walk alongside individuals so they can use those gifts to serve others and experience the joy of making a difference. When people discover their value and purpose, lives and communities are transformed. As 1 Peter 4:10 reminds us: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” |
