Now we're a wedding venue, too! This sweet couple was married at the Hopwood Hope House last week and we pray that the roof they were married under would be true for them all the days of their lives, that they would truly know Love in the Name of Christ from God, for their marriage, and for each other. Many blessing to them!

Our wonderful Life INC Director here in Sturgis is moving on to the next stage of life, and we are so sad to see her go. Thank you so much, Nancy, for your incredible work in bringing Love in the Name of Christ to our community and your diligence in establishing a strong Christian Education ministry here in the Northern Hills. We pray God blesses you richly and provides you with his abundance peace as you take your next steps.

Sturgis – The Senior Center in Sturgis will host a Thanksgiving meal, party and bake auction. We begin with our 11 am bake auction. Following the auction please join us for our Christmas luncheon party at 11:30 AM. The menu includes ham, scalloped potatoes, peas, stuffing, rolls and a rhubarb cake crisp. Sturgis – Start your week off right with our delicious, freshly baked caramel rolls, available every Monday at 8:00 am for only $3.50 for members and $4.50 for guests. Advent Reflection: The Candle of JOY

As we light the third candle of Advent—the candle of JOY—we are reminded that true joy is not found in circumstances, but in Christ’s presence among us. Joy is deeper than happiness; it is a confident hope that God is at work, even in the waiting.

At Love INC, we believe in transforming lives through relationships and community, reflecting Christ’s love in practical ways. Joy grows when we serve others, when needs are met through the Body of Christ, and when dignity and hope are restored. Every act of kindness, every partnership, every volunteer hour is a spark of joy that points to Jesus—the source of lasting peace and purpose.

Scripture:
"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!" — Philippians 4:4
This verse reminds us that joy is a choice rooted in faith. Even when life feels uncertain, we can rejoice because God’s promises never fail.
